LOL - Gotta love to hate the NY Rangers. Their like the Yankees of Hockey, except for their terrible record. What I mean to say is that, how can you spend so much money on a club that likely wont even make the playoffs?

It's embarassing to see a team that sucks so bad represent a city like NY. Here in the sister city we spend about as little as possible and still have had a good couple decades of hockey, not everything we wanted but its hard to complain being a low cap team. Which is exactly what brings up my point - Rangers and their fans should be embarrassed.

Adding injury to insult is their attempt to give up trying to make the best team they can put together and take the Buffalo Bills approach to making money. But instead of T.O. they bring back Sean Avery - Hey if you can't bet them, then you can beat them up - right.

If I had a dollar for every time Sean tackled a world-class goaltender - well lets just say I could spend much more time blogging out my mind and from a much warmer climate, but I  digress. Oh wait, no I don't - It's embarrassing for a team to play like Sean Avery - and it should be blamed on the fans - this is what you wanted, this is what you get. A headline newstory followed by a lackluster season. Above we see Sean tackling Fleury, everyones seen his attacks on Brodeur and then fresh from the Olympics - USA hero Ryan Miller gets tackled in last nights game. For what? Rangers still lost - but they could of ruined the Sabres year by harming a world-class goaltender.

I watched Avery shoulder Chris Drury in the head from behind. Incase I have to mention it, Chris Drury is one of the most respected players on the ice. And for what - The Rangers went on to lose - no gain, and Avery could of ended the career of one of the most respected players ever to play...

Who will the Rangers lose to next - oh lets see Avery pull a knee on knee with Crosby or maybe he can cheap shot some rookie and end his career - but at least Ranger fans are still buying tickets - thats the only important thing right?
