Steelers Sign Battle, Scott, and Allen

Monday, the Steelers signed 3 players, Arnaz Battle, Jonathan Scott, and Will Allen.

Battle, Formerly of the 49ers, has 178 catches for 2,150 yards and 11 TDs in seven seasons. He is 34 years of age and a special teams standout.

Allen, who was drafted by the Buccaneers in 2004, has 195 tackles and 4 INT since 2004, where he was drafted in the 4th round. Like Battle, he is an outstanding special teams player, but he only played 8 games in the 2009 season. 

Scott started 8 games with Buffalo last season. On the Steelers, he will be reunited with his former Offensive Line coach, Sean Kugler, who is now the Steelers O-Line Coach.
