Arizona Trades For S Kerry Rhodes

NFL NewsContributor IMarch 7, 2010

After losing Antrel Rolle, the Arizona Cardinals trade a fourth-round pick this year and a seventh next year for Jets S Kerry Rhodes.Good move to fill in the Safety position.

This coming just over 24 hours since Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum stated that Rhodes would remain with the team in 2010. Though Rhodes made news for a mid-season benching, he played well down the stretch, earning his starting job back. Due just over $7 million the next two seasons, he's a cost-effective replacement for Antrel Rolle. Give Cardinals GM Rod Graves credit for nice use of the fourth-rounder acquired for Anquan Boldin.
