Pepsi’s TRIVIA: Tony C

Evan Brunell by Senior Writer Written on July 07, 2008

The last trivia question asked was who was optioned to Pawtucket to make room for Kevin Youkilis’ major league debut. The answer, as correctly surmised by Daniel Rathman, was Mark Malaska. Leaderboard is updated. The new trivia question:

Tony Conigliaro’s potential Hall of Fame career was cut short when he was hit in the face with a fastball. He had been the youngest player ever to 100 home runs and even though he later attempted a comeback, he was never the same. Who was the pitcher that essentially thwarted Conig’s career and a likely World Series title? HONOR CODE: No search engines, Wikipedia or any similar site in which you run a search or key in to get the answer. No looking up the biography for Tony C (statistics are okay, but not biography). Do the grunt work yourself! WINNER GETS: To submit the new poll — winner please e-mail Evan ASAP with the new poll.

Pepsi has launched Old School, New School, where you can use codes on Mountain Dew and AMP products to redeem prizes such as cars, kicks, and gaming systems.
