Mets shortstop Jose Reyes plans to undergo tests in New York in New York after doctors in Florida discoverred a thyroid imbalance the said Friday. Reyes will have tests on Monday and it could take up to 48 hours for doctors to receive the results. Reyes is not expected to take part in any physical activity while he is gone. the thyroid is a gland in the neck that produces hormones that help control metabolism. Reyes look in good shape at begining of training camp. Hitting a triple at start of camp and see running was thing of beauty. Maybe the Mets will look around for a new shortstop. Seem like  not the same Jose Reyes we knew. Jose said 'We're not talking about my leg, nothing like that, we're talking about my health,"he said, so I have to be concerned about it. Lets pray for Jose because he has big heart!
