The Jets have acquired Antonio Cromartie from the San Diego Chargers for a 2011 draft pick. Cromartie could be the missing link that the Jets need to make it to the mountain top. He will line up on the other side of Darelle Revis on the defensive side of the ball. These two men could possibly form the best cornerback tandem in the game. This acquisition puts an already lethal defense over the top. Cromartie is a former 1st round pick out Florida State and is a pro bowl cornerback.

I feel the Jets got the better end of this trade as they don’t lose a draft pick until next year. Reportedly the Jets will lose a 3rd round pick which could end up being a 2nd rounder if certain incentives are reached. This trade improves the Jets immensely as they do not lose much in the process. Cromartie is clearly a 1st round talent. What do all you think about this trade?
