Antonio Cromartie Traded To the New York Jets

Jason DiCarloContributor IMarch 5, 2010

The Jets have shown interest in adding another cornerback to pair with Darrelle Revis.

According to Fox's Jay Glazer and ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jets are close, if not agreed upon a trade that would send Antonio Cromartieto the Jets for a 2011 third round draft pick, which could upgrade to a second round pick.

Cromartie has 15 interceptions in four years as a starting cornerback for the San Diego Chargers. Cromartie, 25, would pair with Darrelle Revis, who has proven to be one of, if not the best cornerback in the NFL.

This secondary would be tough to go against and every team would hate to go against this young and fierce defense.
