At Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the racing was fine but the fashion was even more spectacular. And there were miles and miles of NASCAR gear to be seen at every turn. Souvenir haulers, especially Danica Patrick's, were packed and almost every single fan had some sort of NASCAR fashion to share. Here are just a few of the fashion statements being made at the speedway in the desert this past weekend.
Of course, at Las Vegas, the dice was rolled and lo and behold became the track mascot. This "dice man" seems to be sharing his own brand of fashion advice to a fellow Sin City fan.
These two Jeff Gordon fans, looking like Mutt and Jeff, no pun intended, were styling the two versions of their Dupont Chevrolet driver's gear. While one accessorizes with his driver's hat, the other sports his own version of the skull cap.
The NAPA fashion has really changed in this 2010 season. Martin Truex, Jr. is now the driver of the NAPA car instead of Michael Waltrip, who has stepped out of the race car to focus on full-time team ownership. This fashion forward fan was indeed sporting the good stuff.
This No. 24 fan was truly ready for whatever weather was coming her way. And she was indeed prepared for the rainy, cool weekend that showed up for the Las Vegas Race weekend.
These red-fashioned fans are toasting their savvy sense of couture with their favorite adult beverage, a staple at every speedway, including Las Vegas. At least between these two fashionistas, the world is full of red, albeit Office Depot and Dodge red.
Fashion truly comes in all shapes and sizes. And this Junior fan shows that true fashion - and faith in her favorite driver - is timeless.
Through his fashion, this fan was celebrating one of the most beloved drivers of the past, Dale Earnhardt, as well as his future induction in the Hall of Fame later this year.
Of course, the newest fashion statement on the NASCAR stage was anything Danica. Ironically, Patrick's fashion hauler was packed while the trailer next door sporting Jeff Gordon fashion was hardly busy. This fashion-forward fan was none too happy when Danica crashed out of the Nationwide race.
In the Neon Garage, these fashion plates were also on roller skates, proving that fashion is indeed fluid and full of motion, just like the race cars on the track.
And what would a Las Vegas race be without a fashion show? This show girl was strutting her stuff all over the catwalk of the Neon Garage. PS that arm you see in the fashionable blue rain coat is my better half, who sure seemed to be enjoying that fashion show!
Kim Kardashian, of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" television show fame, was strutting her stuff in the media center. She was outfitted in a tight, tight, tight pink and black jump suit in celebration of her face being on Mike Bliss' very pink race car. Kardashian used the Las Vegas race to launch her new fragrance, featured at fragrance mega-store Sephora.
This fashion-forward fan was decked out in the victor's gear. He was texting all of his friends to share the surprising news that his driver, Jimmie Johnson, was yet again waving the checkered flag.
As the Las Vegas Race drew to a close, there was one more fashion statement that was crying out to be made. This Bud's for you fans!
