In all the analysis of Tim Tebow's chances in the NFL, it's surprising that nobody has mentioned a comparison with Paul Hornung. Like Tebow, Hornungwon the Heisman trophy as a quarterback at Notre Dame (1956), running and passing. But in the NFL he thrived as a power running back, playing for the Green Bay Packers in 1957-66 and amassing 3,711 total rushing yards and72 TDs. Hornung was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Many consider him to be the best short yardage runner ever to play the game. In my opinion, it's easy to see Tebow following the same path as Hornung.
