March 4, 1926

On this day, 84 years ago, Pascual Pérez was born into this world.  This particular Pascual Pérez made history by becoming Argentina’s first world boxing champion.  That’s really all that Wikipedia tells us about this Pascual Pérez, but hey, a simple Google Image search shows us that he had a boxing “card” back in the day.  Who knew boxing had baseball cards?

Alright alright, let’s stop playing games here, shall we?

The name “Pascual Perez” came across my RSS feed aggregator for one reason, and one reason only.  That’s right, the man above isn’t the only Pascual Pérez with a baseball card.

Why does the JoeSportsFan upper management enjoy the ways of Pascual Perez?  Let us count the ways.

A cornucopia of hairy goodness like the collection above is rare.  Extremely rare.

At best, we usually get 2 of 4 listed above. But all 4? Epic.
