Going into tonight's game in Macon, the eighth seeded Kennesaw State Owls knew they could beat top seeded Lipscomb in the first round of the Atlantic Sun because they beat them back in December at home 97-91.

But with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line, the stage was different.

With a go-ahead layup by Kurtis Woods with 19 seconds left and two free-throws made by Markeith Cummings, the Owls were able to stun the Bisons and spring the top bracket of the tournament wide open.

Kennesaw State's next game will be against the winner of Thursday's Campbell-East Tennessee State game on Friday in the semifinals.
