Oregon Ducks Football, Jonathan Stewart
Icon Sports MediaIt's been a few days, but I still can't believe they did it. The Oregon Ducks finally knocked off Southern California for the first time in four years.

What a game.

As expected, the Ducks won because of their defense, plain and simple. In fact, the Ducks lacked any real stellar plays on offense. Sure, there was that great 16 yard run on third down by Jonathan Stewart and that nice 35 yard pass down the field by Dennis Dixon, but that was it for the Ducks on offense. No major highlights.

In perspective, though, Oregons performance on offense was against one of the best defenses in college football.

In other news, look at where CAL is now. Three losses in a row. Going from 2nd in the nation to off the radar. Pac-10 title, gone. National championship, gone.

All the while, the Ducks have practically erased their one loss. Gameday is coming back, and the Ducks are right back in the NC race. Talk about do-over.
