The Minnesota Vikings will be in need for a back up to Adrian Peterson.  Chester Taylor is all but gone from the team and Peterson needs a role model that will teach him not to fumble the football.

Brian Westbrook, L.T. and now Thomas Jones will be available to fill the role.

Brian Westbrook is a dependable back when it comes to NOT giving up the ball, but he is injured every season.  L.T has lost a step or two but is a very reliable back when it comes to NOT giving up the rock.  Thomas Jones may be a fit for the Vikings if he will go into a back up role, but that remains to be seen.

Do you see a trend here,  DON'T fumble the football.

Tiki Barber has been working with Peterson this off season to show him where to hold onto the ball and his placement when A.P is running with the ball.  Tiki was just like Peterson when he came into the league, he was a fumbler but learned the basics of not fumbling.

The whole point is finding someone to teach A.P. to hang on to the ball and not hurt the team in critical situations.
