Pac-10 Football
Big Pac-10 match ups of the week: USC @ Cal and ASU @ UCLA.

With two losses, USC needs to win out if they want to battle for a BCS game or Holiday Bowl. Another loss knocks them out.

Cal's season is basically shot as it is. As things stand now, they are probably going to end up in some toilet bowl. A win against USC is a step toward the Holiday Bowl, but Cal still has a long way to go.

Since Cal lost to ASU, OSU, and UCLA, they would need those teams to lose four games to top them all. Not very likely.

If you're a Cal fan, you hope they win out with UCLA getting beaten by USC and Oregon and ASU losing to UCLA, USC, and Arizona; the other option is the Ducks and ASU go to the BCS.

ASU still has a shot at the Pac-10 title and/or BCS game. The big question for them is if they can bounce back after a loss. It's always tough for an undefeated to handle a loss.

UCLA could walk into the Holiday Bowl, but they have quite the hill to climb. They play the best in the conference ASU, Oregon, and USC. And remember that loss against Notre Dame? For the sake of the Pac-10, don't win.

I like USC over Cal and ASU over UCLA.
