Boston tried to scratch back in the ninth inning on an RBI single by Mike Lowell, but it was not enough as the Sox lost to the Yankees 2-1.

Justin Masterson pitched well in his start against New York pitching six innings, allowing six hits and two runs.

Goat of the Game: ???

Anyone got one? I think it was just one of those games where you say we will get you tomorrow. Eight runners left on base is not the way to win, but other than that your pick here.

Next Game: Take it

We had a chance at a series sweep but met up with Mr. Mike Mussina who has been dominant as of late. I honestly think we can rattle Joba Chamberlain here because we need not to hack and make him throw into a high pitch count. That will be the key to victory today. Plus, Tim Wakefield needs to keep the ball in the yard.
