Now that Sundin's pretty much off the leafs radar with retirement plans or that whopping 20 MILLION DOLLARS for two years with Vancouver, seriously there's no way in hell he would turn down that offer to retire or come back crawling to the leafs.

I'm not saying that for sure 100% Sundin wouldn't have a change of heart and come back to the leafs. But the Question is that if Sundin pushes the Retirement Button, or the 20 Million Deal Button who's the leafs next captain.?

The obviouse 5  Candidates for the Captain next year are Antropov, Kaberle, Blake, Stajan, and Kubina. McCabe would be a candidate for captain, but his playing days with blue and white are numbered. Kubina's are not but if that hot juicy offer comes in for him, he's in play. But I don't see why trading kubina is a way to restart a franchise because kubina is a key player to build around. But what ever Cliff feels necessary he will do it.
