According to ESPN the Arizona Cardinals will release Pro Bowl safety Antrel Rolle. Rolle has 12 interceptions and 4 TDs in his career.

Should the Steelers pick up Rolle? Without Troy Polmalu last year, the Steelers had one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. Ryan Clark, the Steelers best safety last year, seems destined for the free agent market, leaving a gaping hole at safety unless they draft of pick one up in Free agency. Who better to pick up then Rolle, the best safety available in the free agent market.

Think of the possibilities with 2 perennial Pro-Bowl safeties with Polamalu and Rolle. He may be a bit expensive, but with no salary cap and without Clark's salary, the Steelers may be able to pull it off.

Rolle would also be able to play cornerback, a position he played for his first 3 seasons in the NFL, for the Steelers if needed.
