If you're on Twitter, you've heard of a Tweet Up. If not, let me explain.

A Tweet Up is a group of people who follow each other on Twitter who agree to meet at a certain time at a certain place at an event. Generally, they have something in common—a sport, a general interest, and in this case, NASCAR.

NASCAR's Tweet Ups have become famous. While some people make their own, the most famous Tweet Ups are put together by sbnation.com's Jeff Gluck (@Jeff_Gluck).

His Tweet Ups have garnered such personalities as NASCAR CEO and Chairman Brian France, No. 88 AMP Energy/National Guard spotter TJ Majors (@tjmajors), and today's guests, Amanda and Scott Speed (@amanda_speed and @scottspeed).

Members of the media were at the Tweet Up besides Gluck, including Bob Pockrass (@bobpockrass) from scenedaily.com, Michael Myers from queers4gears.com (@queers4gears), and Toby Christie (@tobychristie70) from RubbingsRacing.com.

Scott Speed, driver of the No. 82 Red Bull Toyota, stopped by for a quick visit before heading off to a Red Bull function.

As a special surprise, two of the Tweet Up guests went with him.

Being Carted Away

Still Tweeting, the Bak twins from Orange County hopped on the Speed's golf cart and went to the Red Bull Energy Station with them.
