According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Brewers have agreed to acquire pitcher C.C. Sabathia.
According to Tom Haudricourt, a, "reliable club source said that the Brewers have a deal in place with Cleveland for left-hander C.C. Sabathia, contingent on the paperwork being done and medical records exchanged."
This is a major, although expensive, acquisition.
Regardless, this immediately makes the Milwaukee Brewers serious contenders.
Look for Sabathia to make his debut for the Brewers Tuesday night at Miller Park against Colorado.

Being a Cardinals fan, this is not good news for me. It only gets harder now..

Yeah, but it is still better than being a Cubs fan.

Wow. That's huge. Sheets and Sabathia together is a big 1-2 punch.
Will it make the difference for the Brew crew? I still think the Cards are a really good team. The central just got very interesting.

I say it makes a big difference. You just added Cy Young to All-Star. Already catching up to the Cubs, this is now a team of destiny. This is not your parents Brewers anymore.
