Joey Haynos is a rookie tight end for the Green Bay Packers. Railbird Central recently had a chance to do a quick little question and answer session with the former Maryland product before training camp gets underway.
RC: The Packers took all their rookies on a trip to the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio in June. What was something unique you saw while you were there?

JH: One thing I liked was the military display and the special tribute to Pat Tillman.
RC: The Packers invited the families of all the rookies to attend a minicamp practice. What happened on that day and what did your family think about it?
JH: Actually they weren't able to come but planning on coming in early August.
RC: Following all the Organized Team Activity practices and minicamp, how much have you learned so far?
JH: A TON!! I've learned a lot of new techniques... like blocking techniques. Obviously just learning the system.
RC: There are a three undrafted rookie tight ends on the Packers' roster right now. Where do you stand?
JH: I plan on being on the final roster.
RC: If the Packers offered you a spot on the practice squad, would you accept it or would you look for a better opportunity elsewhere?
JH: Right now I'm just focused on making the 53 man roster.
