Despite earlier stating a move to Real Madrid interested him more than a move to England, Dutch forward Klaas Jan Huntelaar has spoken of his interest in a move to Manchester United.
Huntelaar, also claims Manchester United are deeply interested in bringing him to Old Trafford.
"I know certain English clubs are following me, like Manchester United, who are very interested in me."

Manchester United have been looking to attract a striker to Old Trafford with Tottenham's Dimitar Berbatov, Sevilla's Luis Fabiano and Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o also rumoured to be on Sir Alex Ferguson's wish list.

Liverpool will be chasing Villa. His partnership with Torres could be what Liverpool needs to finally win the league.
Don't know much about Fabiano though.

What about Berbatov? Personally I'd rather see him at Old Trafford than Villa or Fabiano. But I wouldn't mind Huntelaar either.

But it's still baffling to me why Fergy is going after strikers! If he's looking at only one signing pre season, one would think he needs someone to beef up the defense, and get someone to partner Vidic, Ferdinand and Brown!

I think the reason he's chasing a striker is because we only have two!
yes we have Saha but he will never be reliable enough...
we have plenty of cover at centre half- brown, o'shea silvestre (yes, i know) and jonny evans can all cover if we get injuries...
a centre forward who can lead the line is definitely a priority
