Kyle Busch did it again.

Questions arose after a caution came out on the green-white-checkered attempt involving J.J. Yeley, Michael Waltrip, Reed Sorenson, Dave Blaney, and others to bring out the caution.

With Matt Kenseth behind him, Rowdy narrowly beat out Carl Edwards, who was on the outside with drafting help from Kurt Busch.

It looked like a win was unlikely for Busch early in the race when at lap 82, he had steering-wheel issues and fell all the way to 37th.

Battling back strong, by lap 94 Busch had already made up 10 spots, and at lap 106, Slime Time was up to 16th.

Kyle Busch took the lead from Jeff Gordon on lap 156, and held off Carl Edwards after he spun Gordon out on lap 161.

It's the shrub's sixth win of the season, and after Jeff Burton, who was second in points at the start of the race, was swept up in trouble, Busch's point lead has grown to 182 points over Dale Earnhardt Jr., who is now in second. Burton fell back to third.

  1. There should be some major league fines handed out by NASCAR at Tuesday's hearings. It's fint to try and outrun anyone on a track but it that is not possible, you cannot run over him like the action against Jeff Gordon tonight.
