San Diego Chargers star WR Vincent Jackson pleaded guilty to DUI Monday on charges stemming from a January 2009 arrest, according to the San Diego City’s Attorney’s office. He was given the standard punishment for DUI with one prior, five years on probation and 96 hours in custody. That’s right, V-Jax is going to do time! Hard time!

He will also have to attend a Mothers Against Drunk Driving class, pay a fine north of $2,000 and participate in a multiple conviction program.

Judge David Danielsen said, “We are going to treat him like everyone else.”

We’ll see what the NFL decides to do in terms of a suspension. Our guess is that he has to sit out at least one game.
