According to Terry McCormick of the Nashville City Paper, The Tennessee Titans and safety Donnie Nickey have agreed on a one year contract.

Nickey is the special teams captain of the Tennessee Titans, and has been with the team since 2003.

The 6 foot 3, 210 pound safety from Ohio State was the Titan's fifth round pick in the 2003 NFL draft, and has since become a standout special teams player.

Nickey's agent Jeffrey Chillcoat was quoted as saying, "He is absolutely happy to be back."

Nickey is the second Titan's free agent to be resigned this offseason; Left Guard Eugene Amano signed a five year contract last week.
