Is Nova Really That Good?

Nova's record as of right now stands at 24 wins and 4 losses. Which is a very good record in division I college basketball but they haven't beaten any really good teams. But do they really deserve that number 3 ranking they once had?

During this season the wildcats have played the Georgetown Hoyas who they have split the match up with but in that loss. Their run and gun type of game play was outmatched during this game. The Hoyas outscored Nova 103-90 to end Nova's 11 game winning streak. The Hoyas Greg Monroe, Austin Freeman, and Jason Clark was too much for Nova. All of these players ended up with 19 points or more making them have about 7/10 of the Goergetown's scoring. I believe that Nova needs someone to be a defensive stopper. They do not have a man who can outright stop a man and not let him score. Yes Scottie Reynolds is a good defender at the guard spot but how about if you get a man a little bit bigger and more athletic?

The Wildcats also right now are on a 2 game losing streak to to Connecticut and Number 19 Pitt. These are the real games where Nova really needs to prove themselves to show if they are really a top team and could maybe get a top seed in the bracket but if they keep playing the way they are against the teams that are ahead their future does not look too bright
