The sporting world is a dangerous place. Athletes are always at risk for a gruesome injury when they compete.

However, sometimes the injuries are hilarious. For instance, sports have supplied us with tons of "nut shots" that we, and the announcers covering them, can crack up at. And we want to see it.

So as an addendum to my 10 Worst Nut Shots In Sports, here are 10 MORE Of The Worst Nut Shots In Sports.

Honorable Mention: Think Fast!

I really tried to find a video of this happening at the major league level, but since Major League Baseball deletes pretty much everything on the internet, you'll have to make due with a couple of stupid kids in the same situation.

Actually, the fact that it's a stupid kid that gets hit probably makes it even better.

No. 10: Mascots Are People, Too...Kind Of

The athletes aren't the only ones in danger during a sporting event. The spectators, cheerleaders, and yes, even mascots are at risk.

Take for instance this volleyball game in which Lightning gets struck in the nuts with a spike.

No. 9: New Definition Of Pain

Not a totally uncommon experience (a similar incident was in my last one) for NBA players to lose control of their legs when trying to regain their balance, and since the defensive stance means "legs apart," you can guess what is about to happen.

No. 8: Worst Celebration Ever

Picture1_display_image

Not so much painful as hilarious, this is a perfect example of why players should just hand the ball to the refs after they score. Especially quarterbacks who don't get in the end zone very often.

It would be almost impossible to do worse than this guy did. That's probably why he's not playing real football.

No. 7: Just A Flesh Wound

This one doesn't look that bad, admittedly, but this little play actually fractured this catcher's testicle. That's right—fractured!

As a man, I can't think of many more painful injuries.

No. 6: The Lowest Of Blows

Nut shots aren't always an accident. Sometimes they're the result of some sadistic bastard who has completely lost his grip on the man code. We should find some unique way of punishing these individuals.

No. 5: A Header To The Head

Picture7_display_image

This one is awesome. A soccer player gets tripped up and then falls headfirst into his teammate's junk. Think they were still buddies after this one?

No. 4: Great Sport, Guys

I don't get cricket. I just don't. Somehow it's one of the world's most popular sports, but it looks ridiculous to me.

Maybe it has something to do with guys squaring up to face a hard bouncing ball. Total shocker that this tends to happen a lot.

No. 3: Wait, WHO Got Hurt That Time?

I love this video. It shows exactly why soccer is so funny. A guy kicks his opponent square in the nuts and then acts like he's the one who got hurt! It's hysterical. Who does that?!?!?!

No. 2: Jump, Jive, And Rail

What is it about rails that call out to skaters? Rails were just made for nut shots. In my mind, the risk far outweighs the reward. Especially when you're jumping from a height and bringing even more velocity to your nut shot.

No. 1: That's Totally Against The Man Code

This video is just so wrong on so many levels. It's no wonder that people didn't take UFC seriously in the beginning. Thankfully it has evolved to more than just somebody continuing to wail on another guys nuts.
