Monday proved to be a scary day for all of the Kentucky Wildcat nation.
Coach Rich Brooks was on vacation in Eugene, Oregon, with his son and long time friend. The three were fly fishing when a strong current pushed the boat into a log which caused the boat to capsize.
All three made it to a gravel bar after the boat capsized before they were rescued and taken back to shore.
They were not wearing life jackets at the time the boat capsized. All three were not harmed and are just fine.
Coach Brooks laughed about the accident when asked.

Do you not know that he coached Oregon for a long time? The field is even named after him at Oregon.
