Phil Jackson is the best Coach ever! He has 10 rings more than any coach in NBA history. I know that is what some of you are saying. But the fact is Phil Jackson is not the greatest coach ever. But Larry Brown is the greatest coach ever.

Say What?

When Phil Won his 10 championships he has Jordon, Shaq, & Kobe. But when Larry Brown won his championship he had Billups,Hamilton,Prince,Rasheed Wallace,Ben Wallace which at that time you wouldn't think they would even make the playoffs much less win a championship. When Larry Brown is hired by a team he puts the pieces together and when Phil Jackson is hired by a team alot of the pieces are there.

Don't get me wrong Phil Jackson is a great coach. But when you look at the players he had when he was with the Bulls & Lakers it's kind of hard not to win. Phil Jackson chose two teams that had the pieces to win championships while Larry Brown had to gout out and get the pieces. Larry Brown has also won at both levels in professional & college basketball. He won a national championship with Kansas in 1988.

Look at today the Lakers are on top of the Western Conference  and have been playing without there star player Kobe Bryant and has been playing effectively. But then you look at the fact that the Lakers still have guys like Ron Artest,Lamar Odom,Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum,& Shannon Brown has stepped up pretty nicely. Then you look at the Bobcats who are sitting in the 8th spot and I know some of you are saying that makes Phil Jackson the better coach. But look at the Bobcats roster and the Lakers and you see Phil Jackson has more to work with while even though the Bobcats have a pretty good roster there roster isn't nearly as good as the Lakers are.

Larry Brown has shown that he can do more with less whil Phil Jackson has not. When Larry Brown choses his teams he then starts to put the pieces together. When Phil Jackson chooses his teams the pieces are already there.

In conclusion Phil Jackson is a great coach but Larry Brown is the best to ever coach the game of basketball.
