In a move that only took common sense, the Hornets have signed star point guard Chris Paul to a 3 year deal that could be worth $68 million dollars.

Though the amount of money he's getting paid is absurd, he does deserve to be in that tier of pay just below Kobe and Lebron. By signing Paul to an extension the Hornets have showed their faith in Paul and their fans that they are committed to winning.

The Hornets' PG has averaged 18.2 points per game and is just coming off his best scoring season 21.1 ppg and with a little more than 11.5 assists per game. Paul a two way player also averaged a little under 3 steals per game. This was a great move by Hornets front office.

Although the contract's burden against the salary cap is significant Paul is a player that's worth it.
