Go Daddy Cars Are The Ones To Watch This Weekend

With the Daytona races in the history books, Go Daddy driver's Mark Martin and Danica Patrick have the potential to really perform well this weekend in Fontana California. Mark Martin has done well at both Fontana and it's sister track Michigan. Danica has been to Fontana before in her IRL car, so she has experience at this track and other tracks that are similar.

Martin won at Michigan last year and the chemistry with his crew chief Alan Gustafson just keeps on gelling better and better. This makes the 5 car one to watch for a great qualifying effort and possible first win of 2010. Danica with crew chief Tony Eury Jr have everything to gain on this 2 mile oval.

Yes the car's are very different from the IRL cars but a driver's instinct is one of those "IT" factors that one either has or hasn't got. Danica proved at Daytona in the Arca series race when she spun and regained control of her car that she definitely has great instinct. She may not win this time at Fontana but I look for her to do well.

The Fords are also looking very strong so far this season so this ought to be a close race with a lot of lead changes between the Roush/Fenway/Yates cars and the Hendrick organization. Then there is the revived Jamie McMurray! Could he be the dark horse in this race? It ought to be an exciting event.

Enjoy this weekends races.
