I will go apeshit if the British GP either gets lost or gets sent to Donnington ... The British GP is at SILVERSTONE and it should be there EVERY FRIGGIN YEAR ! ... It makes me so angry to think that they would even consider dropping it ... Especially with all this re-development work happening !

haha, a russian gp. i would love to see the state of that track. montreal breaks up and their winters are bad, but russia's are the coldest in the world. hehe, that should be hilarious.

couple people i spoke to yesterday said that the f1 circus is bored of turkey, and bridgestone hate that turn 8 so it's no wonder it is unconfirmed.

I'm going to pursue the little grey man, and i want to know if silverstone is keeping it's gp.

Hey Ben , Thats How I Felt When I Saw This , Donnington Park Just Will Not Do . We Do Need A Silverstone Grand Prix Its The Only Place In My Eyes . There Is No Need To Drop It Off , What Was The Point Of Giving The Green Light For The Regeneration If They Are Guna Drop It Like A Hot Potato . Im With Ya Mate , Me You And Michael Over To France To Boycot The FIA And Protest If It Happens , What Do You Say ?

And Michael I Hear You , The Drivers Will need To Complete a Race Worth Of Laps Just To Warm The Tyres Up In Russia . And i Dont Know Why They SApend All This Money , They Put Turkey On In 2005 And Remove It 4 Years Later , Whats That About ? Or Maybe They Are Sick Of The Sight Of Felipe Massa Already . Id Love To See An Article Of What You Say To Bernie , Give It Him Michael . Tell Him I Want His Daughters Phone Number And His Cash :-) ha ha .

And My Passport Is At The Ready . Albeit With A Dodgy Photo , I Nearly Didnt Get Home From Spain 2 Years ago Coz i Look Like A Romanian Terrorist On It . You Would Know If U Saw It , But So What Ill Go To France And Sit Outside FIA HeadQuarters Until We Get Answers .

This is almost becoming a regional schedule.

South East Asia/Oceania: Australia, Malaysia, Singapore

Asia: Japan (Fuji), Japan (Suzuka), China, Korea, India (Has to go somewhere)

Southwest Asia: Turkey, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain

Europe: Great Britain (Silverstone), France (Magny-Cours), France (LeMans), Belgium (Spa), Germany (Nurburgring), Germany (Hockenheim), Italy (Imola), Italy (Monza), Spain (Cataluyna), Spain (Barcelona), Portugal, Russia, Hungary

Americas: Canada, U.S. (Indy), Brazil, Mexico

So I see 28 tracks... 29 if TT Assen in Netherlands is ok for F1. If you go to a single race per country per year, you'd have 23 races. Add in a European GP, and that would round it out to an even 24.

I'd be good with 24 races a year on the F1 calendar. I think if you work in the regions, with a race every two weeks (except ones that are closer together, such as Canada and U.S.), then take an additional week off between regions, it would provide some down time for the teams.

So I'd go with Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore on adjacent weekends in March.

Then home to Europe for three races in Spain, Italy, and Portugal in April.

Over to Southwest Asia for three in May: Turkey, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain

Back to Europe for three in June: France, Britain, Belgium

Over to North America for Canada, Indy, and Mexico in July

Back to Europe in August for Germany, Hungary, and Russia

September would see a swing to Asia for 3 of the 4: Japan, China, Korea (or India)

October they bounce to Brazil, then back to Europe for the European GP.

This would make for a 23-race schedule, unless one more race in Europe is slotted between Brazil and the Euro GP to round it up to 24.

    That's my two cents' worth.

Oops... How could I forget Monaco... Slot that in to May, and swap the months.

      March: SE Asia (3)
      April: SW Asia (3)
      May: Europe 1 (3)
      June: North America (3)
      July: Europe 2 (3)
      August: Asia (3)
      September: Europe 3 (3)
October: Brazil, 2 European races (3)

Yeah , Ive Never Quite Understood The Way They Schedule , The Drivers Spend most Of Their Time On Planes . If They Went To Each Area Of The World More Or less In Turn Then It Would Be Much Easier To Handle And There Would Be No Need For These 2 and 3 Week Breaks In Between .

They Should Do All 4 Of The America's GP's In One Month Tho Canada , Indy , Mexico Then Brazil . ,I Dont See Any Problem With Fitting 24 Races In A Year , They Get Paid Enough , Raikkonen Gets 30 million A Season + , Id Do 24 Races a Season For 1 Million , As Long As I Had Enough Money For The Things I Needed Id Race For Pittance Compared To These Guys .

And How Do You Forget Monaco !!! The King Of Racetracks One Thing Is For Sure We Are In For Some Exciting Seasons In The Near Future

All They Need Now Is For Bridgestone To Make A Spiked Compound Of Tyre And Secure The Swedish Grand Prix . F1 Cars in The Snow Eh .

24 races sounds good... but only for the fans, the point is reduces costs, thats what fia wants, make the teams dont spend too much son the low teams like force india and other teams can have more money to improve their cars, you know that super aguri doesnt have the money to trave to spain??, see its expensive to move the complete team to other countries, so dont dreams guys with 24 races
