The Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed in principle to a deal that will send forward Tyrus Thomas to the Bobcats.  The Bulls would receive Acie Law, Flip Murray, and a future first-round pick, which is what the Bulls coveted all along for Thomas.

Thomas was basically sure to be dealt from Chicago at the deadline when he was suspended following an argument with coach Vinny Del Negro. This move gives the Bulls cap flexibility and gives Larry Brown a frontcourt athletic player that will make the Bobcats dangerous in the playoffs.
