Monday Night Raw will have Criss Angel as the general Manager on March 8th. This is the reason why it is perfect to have Flair and Hogan wrestling in the main event of Impact. Hardcore wrestling fans are correct on saying that it will be a terrible match but as we all know the general public usually only cares about familiar faces. Most people who are flipping by the channels will be more inclined to stop and see Hogan wrestling than lets say Randy Orton.

To understand why Hogan and Flair will draw huge numbers we have to look at the facts. The first one is that most hardcore fans will tune in to see the train wreck while the general public will watch to see people that they remember growing up watching. Lets also not forget that the show Hogan knows best had a good amount of viewers. A lot of fans of the show will be interested in seeing what Hogan does. Asides from that Hogan had a huge scandal with his son. He came out in many tabloid articles and appeared on the Larry King show. The public has shown that they are interested in Hogan.

I do acknowledge that the match involving Hogan and Flair is not the future of TNA but it can shine a spotlight on the wrestlers like AJ and the rest of the TNA roster. The bottom line is that Hogan can draw ratings and there is a way to use him to showcase the future of TNA. Having Hogan and Flair gives credibility to TNA from the general public. I know that for us fans its not the match we want to see but for the general public its something that will make them take notice.
