The 2007-2008 NBA season is underway and most philly fans dont realize they have a playoff contender. With just about every espn sports writer saying the sixers will finish 15th in the east, im here to tell you they wont. This team has two of the most under rated players in the league in point guard Andre Miller, and new comer power forward Reggie Evans. Evans is rebounding machine and Miller is a top 5 point guard in the NBA. Then you have the up coming star Andre Iguodala. In the east you dont need much to make a run in the playoffs. That was proven last year with the cavs. The east is a little better this year but still i think the sixers will make the playoffs. Mo Cheeks who is now in his third year with the team has still yet to make the playoffs. But i like what he is doing with the team. If Louis Williams and Rodney Carney can give them good minutes along with Kyle Korver playing well this team is going to have alot of people jumping on the band wagon in a month or two. Look for the sixers to be in 6th or 7th place in the eastern conference by the all star break. This team plays tough and can play with anyone in the league on any given night. They arnt very deep, but hopefully rookies Jason Smith and Thaddeus Young can provide sparks off the bench. Look for the two Andre's to lead this team this season.
