There has always been a dispute over which pro sports league has the hottest eye candy. The NFL and MLB have their cheerleaders, the NBA has their Dancers, and the NHL has their Ice Girls. But seriously, what can beat busty babes skating around on nipply ice in skimpy outfits?

25. Grace (Dallas Stars)

While Dallas is mired in the middle of the pack in the Western Conference playoff race, Grace still gives fans reason to cheer. The Stars are currently ranked ninth in the West, proving beyond a doubt, that except for Wade Phillips dancing, she might be the only thing to smile about in Big D for the foreseeable future.

24. Kristy (New York Islanders)

With all the hype surrounding the arrival of former No. 1 overall draft pick John Taveras on Long Island this year, we shouldn’t overlook another rookie in New York, Kristy, one of the most fascinating ice girls you’ll find anywhere in the NHL. Not only is she talented (at figure skating) and smart (her dream job was to be a brain surgeon), but gentlemen, she’s even got a twin sister. I’m just saying.

23. Dina (Hostess)

Okay, so maybe Dina isn’t exactly an ice girl (she’s actually an arena hostess) but should that keep her off the list? I didn’t think so. Dina goes to Hofstra University, a school which just cancelled their football program, meaning that she might literally be the only thing on campus left to cheer about.

Alright, so maybe nationally, everybody hates anything to do with Boston. But come on, how can you not adore the lovely Ashley?

She’s smart, she’s beautiful, and once even flipped a dirt bike going too fast. Guys, if that’s not your kind of girl, I don’t know what is.

21. Candace (Atlanta Thrashers)

Candace is one of the hottest members of the Atlanta Thrashers ice girls team, known as the Blue Crew. While it’s widely believed that the term “Blue Crew,” comes from their Teel uniforms that make all the teenage boys scream, it’s actually because whenever they hit the ice, they leave every male in the audience with blue ba…well never mind.

There’s no East Coast bias when it comes to this list, meaning that Natalie, a part of the Los Angeles Kings Ice Girls has made our top 25. This photo was taken as part of a calendar shoot earlier this summer, but luckily for Natalie, she can use the same outfit if she ever wants to try out for American Idol!

When you’ve got beauties like Megan and Jenna on your Ice Girls squad, its impossible to choose just one, so we figured why bother!

What separates these two lovely ladies from the others on this list, is that while some Ice Girls get by strictly on their looks, these two are humanitarians. With all the recent snow that hit most of the country, these ladies are coming (shovel in hand) to a driveway near you!

18. Ashley (Washington Capitals)

Another Ashley makes our list, this one from the NHL’s best team, the Washington Capitals.

While all of our girls have spirit and spunk, Ashley may be the most outgoing of the entire list. After graduating from Arizona State, she decided to take a chance and move to Washington D.C. without knowing a single soul. Now that’s the kind of independent girl I want to date!

17. Britney (Nashville Predators)

It’s easy to forget that there’s NHL hockey in Nashville (even for the city’s residents), but luckily Britney is here to show us what we’re missing.

In her team bio, an interesting fact about her says “I’m a thrill seeker and a dare devil! I have never screamed on a roller coaster.” Hmm, ever screamed anywhere else?

16. Lindsay (Nashville Predators)

My mother always told me that too much of anything is no good, but when it comes to the Nashville Predators ice girls, one just simply wasn’t enough.

While her teammate Britney is a daredevil, Lindsay is more reserved, preferring quiet nights at her home in West Virginia.

Early on this list, lacked a Canadian flavor, but thanks to Calgary, we’ve got the beautiful Kylah.

With the Flames currently looking like they miss the Western Conference playoffs, at least Kylah will never let down the Calgary faithful.

13. Sarah (Washington Capitals):

Alex Ovechkin isn’t the only superstar in the nation’s capital, thanks to the stunning Sarah.

Look, we’ve called a lot of the girls on this list “smart and sexy,” but Sarah really is. The girl is a financial analyst and graduate of George Mason University.

Then again on her team bio, she also lists her “Favorite Book,” as “Facebook.” Maybe we should just move on.

12. Katie (Ottawa Senators)

Ottawa finds itself in third place in the Eastern Conference, but at the top of the list in our Ice Girls Power Rankings, thanks to Katie, who works for the Senators “Power Patrol.”

The only drawback to one of the sexiest dancers on ice is this: If you go to the Power Patrol’s website you’ll see that they employ male dancers as well. Which is simply unacceptable.

11. Kalli (Columbus Blue Jackets)

They say the only thing that matters in Columbus, Ohio is the mighty Ohio State Buckeyes football team. But after seeing this picture of Kalli, and some of her teammates, I’d have to slightly disagree.

She’s gorgeous and outgoing, describing her best experience as “Skydiving in the Swiss Alps.” I just wish it had been a pairs jump.

10. Bronwyn (Vancouver Canucks)

With Vancouver, British Columbia on display for the world to see over the next few weeks thanks to the Winter Olympics, you’ll hear a lot about the beauty of the women in Western Canada.

Well any talk of British Columbian beauties has to start with Bronwyn, a 26-year-old native of the city. The Canucks are currently in third place in the Western Conference, and are just itching for their first Stanley Cup championship ever. At least if they don’t get it, they’ve got a nice consolation prize.

9. Candace (Anaheim Ducks)

They say Southern California is home to the most beautiful women in the world, and when you see girls like Candace on the ice for the Anaheim Ducks it’s hard to disagree.

The Ducks are currently out of the playoff mix in the West, which is surprising considering they’re usually a perennial contender. Looks like it might be time for the skill on the ice to get caught up with their beautiful dance team.

8. Allie (Florida Panthers)

With the Panthers are right near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, there really isn’t all that much to be excited about in Florida, well except for Allie of course.

They say that Miami (home of the Panthers) is a fair-weather sports city, but I don’t know. If I was living there, I’d have no problems showing up to see Allie…umm, I mean the Panthers.

7. Meagan (Dallas Stars)

We really couldn’t let this list wrap up without bringing another girl from the Dallas Stars Ice Girls back to this list right?

Needless to say, Meagan was a safe choice, as we haven’t seen anyone look sexier in goalie pads since, well, maybe ever. But with Marty Turco struggling as much as he is, is it time to we give Meagan a try between the pipes?

6. Natasha (Phoenix Coyotes)

Remember like six months ago when the Phoenix Coyotes were bankrupt, and the league needed to take them over? Well, while some think that quality play on the ice has brought the fans out in Phoenix, we know better. It’s because of amazing girls like Natasha. I know I’d pay to see her.

5. Jess (Boston Bruins)

No list of hotties would be complete without a “Jess,” (you know Jess Biel, Jess Alba, Jess Simpson. You get the point), so we went back to Beantown to find one.

Although Jess has one of the sweetest smiles around, don’t let her innocent looks fool you. She’s a member of the ROTC program at her college. She could probably kick your you know what.

While they may be the perennial losers on the ice, there’s no doubt the Islanders are winners in our Hottest Ice Girl poll, as they’ve got an unprecedented three girls on this list.

Remember when we mentioned that the most beautiful girls in the world live in Southern California, well your honor, I’d like to enter Amanda as “Exhibit A,” for my argument.

I like everything about Amanda except for this one thing: How easy can it be to be an ice girl, when you’re wearing those heels? Not that I’m complaining.

Who is that, the Captain Steve Yzerman? Nope it’s the stunning Jenn.

I couldn’t tell you whether she’s a left winger or defenseman, but I can tell you this: From the looks of this picture, she sure knows how to handle that stick.

1. Kendra (Pittsburgh Penguins)

No list would be complete, without at least one member of the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins.

But what we love about Kendra more than anything else, is that while most girls would be quick to toss on a Sid Crosby jersey, Kendra appreciates history. No not the Greeks and Romans, but when old No. 66 was skating around in Pittsburgh. Any girl who loves Lemieux is fine by me.
