John Cena: Why His Character Is Hated

The web is always buzzing at how John Cena sucks. How he has no move set and is booked to be unstoppable.

From what I have seen, the reason he is hated is because he always wins and he doesnt put over talent.

Aside from this, guys hate that he has become the poster child of the new kid friendly WWE.

I actually see what is the problem with John Cena. Its rather simple really.

The problem is that he is booked as an unstoppable, unbreakable force...while being a face. That is the problem.

In wrestling we love the rivalries, the drama, the good guy fighting obstacles in order to reach the WWE title.

Think of this for a moment. Imagine everything that John Cena has done over the past 2 year, but imagine him being a heel while doing this.

The unstoppable monster that rarely gets beaten. Just like HHH  when he first got the WWE title over 10 years ago. The HHH era of his heel persona that was unstoppable, keeping the title for a long time, having the faces really working their ass off to take it from him.

His epic battles with Steve Austin and The Rock. The two biggest faces of the 90`s and early 2000.

What HHH was back then, its what John Cena needs to be now.

Currently, John Cena`s character is upside down. He is not vulnerable. These kids that are 10-13 years old now, will HATE him in 2-3 years.

If it wasnt for the Money machine that Cena is for the WWE, he would have made the turn a while back. I hope he makes that turn soon.
