FARMINGDALE, NY - JUNE 20: A muddy golf ball is seen on the 14th green during the continuation of the second round of the 109th U.S. Open on the Black Course at Bethpage State Park on June 20, 2009 in Farmingdale, New York. (Photo by Ross Kinnaird/Getty Images)

Welcome to round 4 at Pebble. ERR, keep your hands off the ball sir, as you admire the hallowed Pebble mud that will be riding along with you next shot. Gone are the hoard of celebs that seemed as proud to be here as they are rich and or famous . Enjoy your search for the pins that have left the "public" areas. Feel the lovely breeze as it builds thruout the day. Suddenly it's a full on PGA event, and the 64's have left the building. If the greens were smoother , they'd still be bumpy. The leaky 4 footers are just hopping exciting. Birdies  suddenly have to be earned, not gathered. A par 5 is turning into a demolition derby. Cooler than Luke Perry. In the end a long, tall , cool as Clint dude banging Clingon drives won what turned out to be a really good GOLF tournament.AMEN
