Five Reasons Why 2010 Will Be Different For The Mets

Pitchers and Catchers are reporting next week for the start of Spring Training in Port St. Lucie Florida and as usual, expectations for the Mets will be high.

This year will be a challenge for both players and management to show the fans that the management made wise choices this winter in who they did or did not acquire and the players have to show that they are healthy and hungry.

Omar Minaya has drawn much criticism for the lack of acquisitions and trades. But if he did not make any foolish signings or further deplete the Minor League System and the Mets get off to a good start, then most will be forgotten by the fans.

There are several things that will make this year different than the last few. Some may be for the better and others for the worse, but I do think they will all play a role in the success of the Mets in 2010.
