After finding it hard to win the close games earlier in the season, Marquette stands 2-for-2 in their last couple nailbiters.

Jimmy Butler's game-winner at UCONN and most recently a 82-79 victory at the Dunkin' Donuts Center against Providence.

Marquette now sit firmly on the bubble in nearly all brackets floating on the internet and face another bubble team in South Florida this Saturday in a big game for both clubs.

Lazar Hayward will need a repeat performance of his 28-point and nine rebound performance against the Bulls, who will have Dominique Jones pouring in buckets.

Hayward and his mates I think will prove too strong for South Florida, particularly because of the emergence of Darius Johnson-Odom.

The Golden Eagles can win all of their games remaining on the schedule, but it begins Saturday, with South Florida, who will give Marquette a battle as they are fighting for a NCAA bid of their own.

The key will be whose supporting cast is better: Hayward's or Jones'.

I think (and hope) with DJO and Jimmy Butler's recent play MU should pull out a close and needed W to ride their win streak to five.
