ISU's Jim Wiedie Out As Women's Head Coach
Today, Indiana State University Athletic Director announced that Jim Wiedie would no longer would be the head coach of the Women's Basketball team at ISU. No reason has been stated why this action has taken place. He has taken this women's basketball team from nothing to a contender in the Missouri Valley Conference. He has taken his team to 2 MVC Championship games, and has led them to 1 NIT appearance, where they defeated Illinois. ISU assistant coach Clint Weddle will be acting head coach until a coaching decision has been made.
