British Number 1, Tim Henman sealed his place in the last 16 at Wimbledon in 2004 with a victory over Hicham Arazi of Morocco. In the 4th round Henman would play Mark Philippoussis of Australia, interestingly the duo met in the 4th round at Wimbledon in 2000 after Henman had also beaten Arazi in the 3rd round. This time around Henman managed to win the 1st set 6-2 and appeared to be on control of the match. The Englishman then doubled his lead when he won a tight 2nd set 7-5. The 3rd set was hard fought all the way and the Australian managed to edge it on a tiebreaker to halve Henman's lead and force the match into a 4th set. Henman broke the Australian midway through the 4th set and serve for the match but the Scud hit back to force the set into a tiebreaker, however Henman held on to claim a superb 6-2 7-5 6-7 7-6 victory.
