NHL, NHL Atlantic, Philadelphia Flyers, Breaking News

Looks as though a good run by a good player is over in Boston.  Glen Metropolit, has signed a UFA Deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.  Deal is two years and salary was not disclosed.

Metro caught on with the B's during camp last year, came to Boston and played for a contract.  He without a doubt was one of the best players on the Bruins throughout the 07-08 season.

He was a good agitator and was always the first to mix it up.

Hopefully he catches on with a good line in Philadelphia and his career flourishes.

It is a sad to see a good player and person leave the Bruins Organization.
