McNabb: "Don't Worry. Some Of Us Still Appreciate You"

"BOO! WE WANT WILLIAMS!" This is what McNabb heard in 1999 after being drafted second overall by the Philadelphia Eagles. Even before he put on an Eagles uniform, he didn't get any respect.
McNabb finished second in MVP voting his first year as a starter. Eagles' fanatics were finally starting to warm up to him. From 2001 to 2004, McNabb led the Eagles to four straight NFC Championships. In 2004, they beat the Falcons to go on to the Super Bowl, which they eventually lost. McNabb also led them to the 2008 NFC Championship game, which they lost. McNabb has led the Eagles to the playoffs 7 times in his ten year career.
Ok, McNabb has never won a Super Bowl, but he has been one of the best quarterbacks of the decade. Think where we would be right now if we would'nt have drafted McNabb, and drafted Ricky Williams. We'd have a drug addicted half back, and painful memories of what could've been.
If it wasn't for McNabb, we'd have one of the worst offenses in all of football. Kolb can't play a 16 game season. He's a good backup, and that's all he'll ever be. Vick is overrated. I hope we do trade him.
McNabb holds Eagles' records for most career wins, pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. So if you can't respect that, then you don't deserve to be an Eagles' fan.
