Bleacher Report, today is July 1st. For Canadians all over the country, we are celebrating our anniversary. I would like to wish fellow Canadians HAPPY CANADA DAY!

Oh Canada!

What defines Canada? Is it the unpredictable weather? Is it our free health care? Is it what seems to be our over-friendly persona? Or is it maybe the use of the word “eh”? Maybe it’s the love for our Tim Horton's coffee and doughnuts!

According to surveys, the top five Canadian symbols are:

Maple leaf Hockey  Canadian Flag  Beaver  Canadarm

Canada brought to the world some of the biggest entertainers around today, musicians, and also some of the greatest athletes.

Of course, there’s NBA’s Steve Nash, MLB’s Eric Gagné, PGA’s Mike Weir, Racing's Paul Tracy, and much much more.

But no doubtly the pride of our country...HOCKEY!

Great stars from the past like Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr, Mario Lemieux, and Patrick Roy; current stars like Sidney Crosby, Joe Sakic, Jarome Igilna, Chris Pronger, just to name a few—Canadians have and forever will rule the ice!

So Canadians, enjoy our day. Go out tonight and party. Drink some good Canadian beer, watch some fireworks, and rock out.

Happy Canada Day Everyone!
