10 Super Bowl XLIV Parties You Won't Be Attending
Many have suggested that the Monday after the Super Bowl should be declared a national holiday. This year's marriage of the Super Bowl brings in two of America's biggest party cities.
Miami is playing host Sunday while the Saints are represented by New Orleans. This match made in heaven means SB XLIV could be one of the biggest weeks to party in recent memory.
Most of the partying is reserved for the rich and famous, so here are ten parties to attend that most of us can only dream about.
Maxim Magazine Party
Saturday Feb. 6: 10 p.m.
Maxim will be hosting the Mack Daddy of all Super Bowl Parties. The Raleigh Hotel will be the venue to see and to be seen.
Maxim will get their name out there in conjunction with Volkswagon, Samsung, Patron, Armani, Pepsi, BSN, Ubisoft and Gillette.
This will be another big event attended by some of the biggest names in entertainment and pro sports, meaning that you must be someone to attend.
The music will be headlined by Jermaine Dupri and DJ Vice.
Leather and Laces
Friday Feb. 5th: 9 p.m.-?
Kim Kardashian, Roselyn Sanchez, and Holly Madison host the seventh annual event. Entertainment will be provided by a bevy of DJ's and Cirque USA.
The menu boasts premium sushi and an open bar for VIP ticket holders. You can get in if you are prepared to spend $350 for tickets and $750 for VIP.

ESPN Next Party at Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Friday, Feb. 5: 10 p.m.
ESPN will light up Super Bowl Friday night at the famous Fountainebleau Hotel with its sixth annual Super Bowl Party.
The private party has a guest list of 1,200 that includes some of the biggest names in entertainment and professional sports.
This year's theme will be a 1950's Miami Rat Pack.
The decor will include a neon pink 25,000 square foot structure and multi-view platforms that span the back portion of the FB.
Ne-YO and Keri Hilson are scheduled to perform and Q-Tip will be spinning.
Bud Light Hotel
Tuesday, Feb. 2 – Sunday, Feb. 7
Bud Light is kidnapping the Surfcomer Hotel on South Beach for Superbowl Week.
Concerts will feature Jamie Foxx and Usher. Other events include bikini parties, UFC, and Jimmy Tailgate.
But don't try to get a reservation at the Hotel or find a ticket to any of the parties. The only way to get in is to win Bud Light's Sweepstakes.
Coors Light at Mansion
Friday, Feb. 5: 9 p.m.
Coors Light tries to keep pace with Bud Light by hosting their own Super Bash at the Mansion Nightclub.
Snoop Dog will be throwing down, but tickets are not available to the general public.
Saturday Night Spectacular
Saturday Feb 6: 9pm-3am
Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy, and Mark Steines will be hosting the fourth annual Saturday Night Spectacular to benefit Operation Rescue.
Cirque USA and Jim Karol "The Madmen Mentalist" will be providing entertainment.
Tickets start at $1,000 and go up to $20,00 for one of the three available cabanas.
EA Sports Madden Bowl
The Clevelander Hotel, Miami Beach
Thursday Feb. 4: 9pm-4am
What would the Super Bowl be without a party from the biggest NFL video game?
Some of the biggest names in sports will be in attendance. Like some of the others, this one is invite only. In 2009, SI claimed that this was the best SB Party.
Chad Ochocinco is scheduled to face rapper The Game in Madden Bowl XIV. Unless you know someone, don't plan on attending as this one is another private guest-listed party.
The Big Give
Saturday, Feb. 6: 8 p.m.
Transformers Director Michael Bay will be hosting the second annual Big Game Big Give/The Giving back fun at his home.
The event was hosted last year by Ashton Kutcher. An A-List celebrity 70 person guest list is slated to include Will Smith, Tom Cruise, and Julia Roberts.
If you really want to attend, be prepared to fork over $1,000 and an invitation to the dinner is much more difficult.
Eden Roc Super Bowl Party
Thursday Feb 4: 9pm-2am
Former Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, and Miami Hurricanes Coach Jimmy Johnson co-hosts with Nick Lachey.
Entertainment will include Snoop Dog and Paul Okenfold.
You can get in if you are ready to shell out $450 or $750 for VIP
Taste of the NFL
Saturday Feb. 6th: 7pm-?
Fort Lauderdale Convention Center
This event is a wine and food bash thrown by the NFL. Each NFL team will have a premier chef and a current or former player from the team.
Several foods will be available to sample.
Opportunities to buy photographs with celebrities and players will cost attendees $500 minimally.
The Barenaked Ladies are scheduled to perform.
