It's a mad world. Steroid aficionado (and former Bash Brother) Jose Canseco has made public his desire to throw down with Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker.
No, this is not a preview for a new season of "Celebrity Death Match;" it comes straight from Canseco's Twitter account.
"I guess I may have to show Herschel Walker who the real bad boy of the Sports Industry is. If the powers that be are reading, I want in."
Apparently 45-year-old Canseco wasn't impressed with 48-year-old Walker's dismantling of Greg Nagy during the College Football Hall-of-Famer's mixed martial arts debut.
To Canseco's credit, he did box Partridge Family member Danny Bonaduce to a three-round draw and lasted an entire minute with Hong Man Choi in his lone MMA bout.
While Walker may not be an elite in Strikeforce's Heavyweight Division, he looked surprisingly well-rounded against Nagy (1-2) and his level of fitness was shocking for someone only 10 years away from being able to draw from his IRA.
Canseco might want to chose his words carefully. This is the digital age, and it only takes minutes for a moment of brash overconfidence to reach anyone and everyone in cyberspace.
If they run into each other a couple of years from now at a retirement community in sunny Miami, it might be on like Donkey Kong.
