Did Edge Return to The Royal Rumble As a Fan Favourite Or a Villain?

Yeah we all should know by now that Edge won the 2010 Royal Rumble and if you didn't then you know now but I don't think anyone noticed that Edge didn't change one bit.

The Internet Wrestling Community all thought that Edge was going to turn face and feud with Chris Jericho as soon as he returns but was he really acting like a fan favourite?

Even though he got the reaction a fan favourite should he was definitely the same Edge that I saw 7 months ago. Not sure about this but did Edge cheat to win the Rumble?

Batista was staring at Cena but as soon as John Cena turned around Edge was ready to hit Cena with the spear. John Cena reversed Edge with a kick but Edge took him by the head and threw Cena over the top rope to eliminate Cena and win the Rumble.

I know that it's not too bad of a thing to do as Shawn did it to Triple H too but the way Edge was acting tells me that he's still a villain and thank lord for that, seriously if he turned face what would his nickname be? The Rated PG Superstar?

If he didn't turn face than what's Smackdown going to do? Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker are all Smackdown have right now and they're both said to be somewhat injured. Edge could replace the gap that Batista left open when he turned heel.

Not only that, if Edge didn't turn face than what's that going to do with his rivalry with Chris Jericho? I'm pretty sure people don't want to see a heel vs heel match on the grandest stage of them all.

It's just hot and cold with me for Edge right now. I personally want him to stay heel but the most logical choice would be to turn Edge face.

The only answer to this and other questions is to watch Smackdown or maybe if we're lucky, Raw tomorrow night.
