Action Express Racing in the #9 car took the win in Sunday’s Rolex 24 @ Daytona International Speedway on Sunday. In Daytona Prototypes Joao Barbosa, Mike Rockenfeller, Ryan Dalziel and Terry Borcheller took home the win the trophy, money and the valued Rolex 24 winners watch. The Ganassi team of Scott Pruett, Justin Wilson, Memo Rojas and Max Papis were second as the Ganassi teams are always good, but the team of Scott Dixon, Juan Pablo Montoya, Dario Franchitti and Jamie McMurray went out overnight due to engine trouble. In GT it was the #70 Castrol Speed Source Mazda of Nick Ham, Sylvan Tremblay , Jonathan Bomarito and David Haskell. The 24 hour marathon was a great race that started in the rain, not a close finish this year but non to less I think everyone was glad to see racing after the long winter. The race began Saturday in the wet with a lot of rain soaking the track, the race began under caution but after a few minutes they were off in the most prestigious and biggest sports car race in America.  The 24 hour race was long, took its toll on equipment and drivers as it always does, some fail, some win all seem to have a good time. The season continues for the Championship in March @ Homestead Miami Speedway on the road course.
