Euro 2008 Final: Spanish Delight

JJ StrausserContributor IJune 29, 2008

The European Championship could be summed up in one word for Fernando Torres: disappointing.

Why was it disappointing? Well he only scored two goals throughout the whole tournament after scoring 24 in the EPL. But the second one will be one of the biggest goals that he scores in his entire life.

The goal came in the 33rd minute of today's final and the Germans had no answer for it even after they came on attack after attack in the second half. The first half was dominated by the Spanish who had three chances in the 45 minutes.

This is Spain's first European championship in 44 years.
