Go Buy Chasing The Grail by Fozzy...NOW!!!!

If you are a fan of either rock music or Chris Jericho, I urge you, get off of your couch, desk, whatever it is that you are on and go buy the CD.

Or, if you aren't into the CDs and much more into just owning the music, amazon.com it. Now, do not wait another second. This CD is something very special.

Now, seeing as we have a vast difference in people, I don't know how many people know the backstory of Fozzy.

Chris Jericho is the singer. On guitar, the very talented and gifted Rich Ward. One cannot forgot about the drummer who just rips it up, Frank Fonstere. And last, but certainly not least, the bass guitar player, Sean Delson.

As for the history, well, if one can remember, Fozzy came about as a "cover band" in which lead singer, Mongoose McQueen (who was Chris Jericho, but pretended he wasn't) stated in interviews and on wrestling television that the band toured Japan and other bands and singers stole their music.

From Maiden to Priest, McQueen claimed that they stole their songs and they were truly the greatest metal band.

Thankfully, this gimmick didn't last long as Jericho ditched the gimmick and decided to really give this band a real go.

They continued to cover other songs from big name bands in the coming years, but in 2005 they came out with All That Remains that showed their real talent. That CD gave them a nice jump start and magazines started praising the band and finally giving them credit.

Five years later and we are here today with Chasing the Grail. Quite a few articles have gone on record and said that if Jericho brought this out ten years ago, he could have retired from the ring and gone big with Fozzy. That's how good this CD is. They pour their heart and soul into this.

I know some might still be on the fence with this, especially seeing that about a couple of years ago, John Cena out performed Chris Jericho on stage. But that was all for show. And this record proves it.

When the numbers come out, I really think this CD might do very well, even in the days of CDs being bought on iTunes or just illegally downloaded.

Fozzy is no joke. Before this CD, they toured the country and played in a couple of big music festivals while having their songs played for wrestling PPV's.

This new CD, the first single, Martyr No More, is the theme for the Rumble. It is just a taste of what the CD has to offer.

Lastly, one of the greatest songs on this cd is a 14 minute thrill ride called Wormwood. Jericho wanted to do a song about the last book of the Bible, Revelations (probably because of his Christian background) and had Mike Martin produce it while Jericho came up with the lyrics.

For all the people that think Christianity and rock music cannot mix, one just needs to listen to Wormwood to have their mind opened up. There truly hasn't been a musical odyssey like this in YEARS.

This is an amazing mind trip that one needs to free their mind, blast the speakers, and enjoy the music of this song.

I again urge you to PLEASE pick this CD up and support Chris Jericho. You will not be disappointed if you are a fan of rock music, Chris Jericho, or even, as a Christian, just for the song Wormwood.
